Bow Valley Film Tour

120 mins | Rated PG

The Bow Valley Film Tour is a thrilling collection of four films that showcase the incredible work of talented local filmmakers. Featuring four captivating films that highlight the Mountain, Water, Life and Dreams themes, this local event is a celebration of the unique and breathtaking natural and cultural wonders found in and beyond the Bow Valley.

P3-Pedal Powder Paddle
Three friends from Canmore Alberta set out to paddle board the headwaters
of one of Canada’s longest rivers ( the north Saskatchewan). To get there
they will have to bike, hike, ski and snowboard their way across two glaciers
and one 11,000’ mountain ....all in one epic day

Mǐn Jiāng, As the river flows
Mǐn Jiāng is the mother river of Fujian province in China. The Fujian local
Ruan and his friends kayaked through his mother river from source to mouth.
The duo kayaked through the life vein of the river, crossing countless dams
and documenting the impacts of an evolving culture on an ancient water
source.

Crossing Ghost
Two local Mid-age climbers from Canada Rockies, Wanna bike through the
Ghost Area, do some remote ice climbs and ride out across frozen lake.
Doing it in good company with old bikes, limited time and dubious weather,
then back to their reality life.

Reverie of Yukon
In the far north, the mighty Yukon river flows through Eric Nicolier’s life.
Mushing, rafting, carpentering, and playing music is Eric's way to composing
his life of reverie.
